Art of the Aegean The Toreador Fresco
This mural is the largest and most dynamic of all frescos found from this time period. The example shows the minoan ritual of bull-vaulting ,which was more of a gymnastic dance than modern day bull-fighting, involving the sacred animal in a religious ceremony.
