Stonehenge is a
cromlech,which
is a term used to describe a round grouping of stones. The stones
weigh about 50 tons a piece and were brought to this site from about
20 miles away. The vertical stones are called Menhirs
and the horizontal stones that are curved to follow the design are
called Lintels.
