Art of Ancient Near East
Summary
Between 3,500 and 3,000 B.C. the Sumerians established a civilization in Mesopotamia. They used fired bricks with mountains to form enormous temples, called ziggurats. The Sumerians left us conventional artworks, like stone sculptures and metal works. This was the develpement of the "Art World".
