Sphinx Palette of Namer
This object was used to prepare the distinctive eye make-up that is characteristic of the egyptian people. The image on the left (the back) represents King Narmer and the image on the right (the front) shows two snakes inter-twined that shows the unification of upper and lower Egypt and the beginning of the dynastic period.
