W ell, I guess this is a safe spot to put the 2002 winners of the Top Ten awards. The work was awesome this year and so were the judges. 57 of the 91 pieces got votes this year which marks the most spread out exhibit ever in the 5th year of the program. This year, Mr. Cessna has chosen 4 works to be honored as "Principals Choice" awards. These works were chosen by Mr. Cessna as his favorites and will recieve special awards by him at the awards ceremony. The winners are:
Matt Barnes- Flag Collage

athletics
S oftball is nearly over for this year. The girls didn't reach some of the lofty goals we set for this year but did play competitively throughout the year against some really tough teams. Seniors moving on include Kelly Bradley- The best Catcher we've ever had, Kate Murray- The only Princess Sayre Softball will ever have, and Ashlee Twigg- The best shortstop turned pitcher that the sport has ever known at Sayre. We will miss you all.
activities
T he end of the year is approaching fast and cleaning the art room is on the top of my list. If all goes well, we should have the major part of it completed by Wednesday of next week. Maybe if we are lucky, we will find the square that has been missing, the rest of the rulers, and return all of the projects that were in the TopTen show. "Yeah Right", none of them will actually be done by Wednesday but it is nice to dream though isn't it ? Good luck students on tghe plus points during clean-up. Some of you are going to need them.
